I've just installed kerberos version 5 beta 6 on a Sun Sparcstation
running Solaris 2.5.
In the migration.doc file it states
Initially, administrators should deploy the v5 kdc (with its built-in
v4 compatibility), a v4 kadmin server, and a v5 kadmin server.
The v5 kadmin server will at this time continue to use the v4 str2key
function, so all of the passwords in the database will be v4 compatible.
Where do I find the v4 str2key function and how do I change the v5
kadmin server so that it uses this function (if it is not using it
already)?
Also when using secure nfs I get this error after I change to the shared
directory (this is after running kinit)
Can't get kerberos key: Principal unkown (kerberos)
Is this related to the problem above?
