I am attempting to install K5b6 on Solaris 2.5. I performed the
following steps:
1. ./configure --with-cc=gcc --with-ccopts=-i
--with-krb5-root=/opt/vnoble/krb5
2. make
"make" was successful (with some warnings along the way) until this
happened:
making in slave...
make[1]: Entering directory `/opt/vnoble/krb5/krb5-beta6/src/slave'
gcc -L./../lib -L./../lib -o kpropd kpropd.o -lkdb5 -lkrb5
-lcrypto -lcom_err -lnsl -lsocket
ld: fatal: file kpropd.o: unknown type, unable to process using elf(3E)
libraries
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to kpropd
make[1]: *** [kpropd] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/vnoble/krb5/krb5-beta6/src/slave'
make: *** [all-unix] Error 1
After this error occurred, make stopped. Does anyone have a fix for this?
Please help!
Thanks in advance.
