If you don't have someone on staff who has a strong background
in computer security, then comercial is your only good option. The
publically available distributions of Kerberos assume you either have
some familiarity with the environment, have experience chasing down
and tracking configuration/setup bugs, and know what configuration
choice lead to a secure environment and what does not. Also, the free
solutions do not help you establish site policies that work for your
organizations and provide reasonable security.
If you have someone on your staff who can do this, then you
may not need to pay someone else to provide support.
