Yes it does :^)  It requires some work, but it is possible, I'm using 
one now.  

reaper and endsession have to be replaced.
change uname in the X11R6 xdm source to gethostbyname
SGI screen savers won't work, but maybe that's because we replaced xlock
with kerberos 5 one...

I'm using Kerberos 5 beta 6 and IRIX 6.2.  I had been using Kerberos 5 beta
5 and IRIX 5.3...
