Running Kerberos V5 Beta 5, I created a database, stored the master
key, and have been running for months. Upgraded to Kerberos V5,
Beta6, and attempted to start a keyserver or run the edit utils, and
get the following.

% kdb5_edit
kdb5_edit: Database record is incomplete or corrupted
while retrieving master entry

% krb5kdc &

Built with gcc, with shared libs, all the principal files are there,
as is the master key. The open of the databases goes ok, it reads
through a sequence and then returns that error message (I have strace
output et al that says all of this)

SunOS 4.1.3

I've backed off to beta5, and before I spend the next bunch of hours
digging, has anyone else seen this?

thx.
