Is here any documentation on how to get a V4 client to communicate with a
KRB5B6 server? I'd of course, like to have these clients be KRB5 aware, but
there are clients out there(Mac Telnet, for example) the are V4 only. I don't
have the means to bring it up to speed.
I have installed krb.conf and krb.realms files in /etc.
When I try and use a V4 client, I see:
Jul 3 14:35:37 cheops syslog: PROCESS_V4:Initial ticket request Host: 132.241.67.13 User: "ctrown" ""
in syslog. On the Mac I get a dialog stating "Sorry, your password is
incorrect. Please try again."
I get the same symptoms when I try to get Merit's radiusd to authenticate
with Kerberos.
What do I need to do? I've done web searches to no avail. Help! Please!
