after building kerberos 5, do a "make check" in the build tree.
That'll mostly do module tests, unless you have dejagnu installed (ftp
to prep.ai.mit.edu as with other gnu/fsf stuff) at configure time, in
which case it will run a bunch of tests from tests/dejagnu, including
setting up a realm and testing various daemons.
