I have set up Kerberos on a number of systems now and each time it has
been a very smooth installation. Unfortunately, I've been stumped on
my latest attempt so I hope you can help me.
Platform: BSD/OS 2.1, built-in Kerberos 4, using pwd_or_krb login
program
I can 'kinit' properly and get back the tickets which let me rlogin
around the network. Unfortunately, when I go to login to the system
via, say, telnet, I get the generic password failed error, and the
following is logged to the syslog:
krb_rd_req: (Can't decode authenticator)
All the systems use the same krb.realms and krb.conf and I have a
correct srvtab on the system. What confuses me is that I am able to
get the tickets no problem, but I can't login via Kerberos.
Any help would be appreciated.
Evan
