I did a little more research on my 'make world' problem and now realize that
'Makefiles' (plural) is a target in the Makefile. My problem is that the
directory [OBJ_DIR]/appl/rkinit is not being created by the 'make -f makeconfig'
but appears to be required. The 'appl' SUBDIRS are defined in the makeconfig
but not rkinit. Is this a flag problem in makeconfig or am I missing something?
