	Kerberos is a UDP protocol; it doesn't have connections per
say.  Telnet is a TCP client, so it will be unable to send a packet
that the Kerberos server will recognize.  Kerberos4 is generally on
port 750, and Kerberos5 is generally on port 88, but there are some
sights that do things differently.

		I would personally be very reluctant to use a binary
distribution of security software I had downloaded off the net.  I
would seriously consider finding a source distribution and compiling
it yourself.
