Be aware, if you are compiling the K4 compatibility code in the K5B5
distribution, the pcbc_encrypt code in the des425 library doesn't work
when compiled with MSVC 1.5. You have to use the pcbc_encrypt in the
K5 DES library instead.
For the most part everything will work as expected, though. We have been
testing this code for 4 months now, and will be releasing our Kerberos DLL
sometime this week or next, as part of the PC-Enterprise product. The DLL
itself and the Kerberos Manager app will also be available separately. This
is a 16-bit library and app for Win 3.1; it works under Win '95 but we'll
be releasing a 32-bit version next quarter.
