Hi,

I wanted to know if there is a way to compile Krb 1.9 to use OpenSSL .9.8 (its
the only version that is FIPS-140-2 based)?

I downloaded the new version today (from 1.8.1) an noticed some issues compiling
with my existing OpenSSL libraries. I did a bit more digging and found out that
most of the issues seem to be with it looking for aspects of OpenSSL 1.0.

Problem is I want to use the FIPS-140-2 certified version of OpenSSL, which is
currently at .9.8. Is there a different option to set this up that I am
missing? Or is 1.9 only going to use OpenSSL 1.0 and up?

FH
