The admin server tells clients which host password changes, etc.
should go to. The client programs that use this are kadmin and
kpasswd. The server program is kadmind.
These are in the kerberos distribution.
Yes, it does meant that I could change a password in Realm A from
Realm B, assuming that I knew the password to the account in Realm A.
For example, if I had an account at IASTATE.EDU, I could change the
password to that account from here at MIT.
