Hi,

	I ftp'd the Kerberos pack (Bonees)from unix.hensa.ac.uk and
in README.1ST I found a sentence: "To put this files back to-
gether, concatenate all the files with similar names: e.g. xxx.Z.aa
and xxx.Z.ab get concatenated, save into xxx.Z, and uncompress it,
then apply patch file #9(using the patch program, if available)."

The questions:
1. how to run the "patch#9" (patch -p doesn't work)
2. what does it do?
3. why is it necessary?

sorry for ignorance but the next step is difficult for me.
The principles are clean but the practice is foggy.
How to protect a particular machine with Kerberos?
Could somebody give me a simple scenario for my case?

Thanks you in advanced for help.
					V.K.
