Hello Theresa,

We don't need to meet, but - yes - we do need to discuss the student
group request. Until we have a more defined structure regarding
support, software fees, etc. I am leaning towards declining opening
this up to student groups. Additionally, there are still ongoing,
unresolved negotiations with DITR regarding athena DLC's which this
would most likely fall under if we reach a decision in this matter.
For now, I would be ok with them having a container with machines
joined to the domain and have them install software on their own, but I
really don't have the cycles to begin supporting machines in student
groups. Once the RCC is trained in such matters, I would feel much
better helping them (and others) get started so long as they could
provide some backup support. Just my 2 cents....

-Chad.
