These are rough, but contain most of what we discussed.
Attending: Mark, Paul, Oliver, Tom, Theresa, Jon, and Richard (after
coming back from N42)
Agenda:
- NT4 domain migrations
as of a week ago
48 NT4 domains found on MITnet
40 we knew about
some of the ones were ones we had known about but came up under a different IP
more are moving again now that Commencement has passed
SSIT moving last week of June
Big unknown state:
Sloan and one other
We are not expected a huge rush, maybe 6 new containers.
- 2 latest hotfixes
not critical or important and don't effect popular apps, so we aren't going
to add them to WAUS
Mark is going to check with Richard about MS04-15 from May and whether it
is an approved update.
- Server migration from 2000 to 2003
Going to do a week or two in ISN of testing
Then go live
the bug in ticket lifetime shouldn't hold us up (change password service
ticket lifetime)
it is for changing strong passwords
Migration should be transparent to everyone, so adding new workstations
etc. is fine. We will announce to container admins a heads up so that if
they notice any change they can let us know.
Update on VScan Enterprise 8.0i will include Spyware tools as good as
SpyBot S&D when it is released in July.
Paul will send the url for the test of the container lookup web tool.
