Hi,
During this morning's meeting there was a brief mention of the
"responsibilities of container administrators." Theresa recalled that there
was a document that indicated what these responsibilities are.
I think that the document is really one paragraph contained in the larger
document,
<http://web.mit.edu/ist/topics/windows/server/group_policy_intro.html>
In the section that talks about "planning and preparing the software
installation" we say:
Software licenses are required for software written by independent software
vendors and distributed using software distribution points (SDPs). It is
your responsibility to match the number or identities of users or computers,
dongles, etc., who can access software to the number of licenses you have on
hand. It is also your responsibility to verify that you are working within
the guidelines provided by each independent software vendor with the
software.
If someone knows of a document that talks about the responsibilities that we
expect a container administrator to assume in more detail, please let me
know.
Paul
