I recently contacted the Computing Help Desk because I had software I'd like to install on a machine in the Windows cluster in building 37, and they told me to contact you.
I am working on a senior thesis with Prof. David Paul of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. I would like to use the True Basic programming language. However, he only has a CD that can install on Windows, not on Linux, so I was hoping to install it on a machine in the building 37 Windows cluster. I tried to install it on my account, but it didn't work. The other option for installing software seems to be to have the administrator's password (I guess this would install it on that specific machine's hard disk).
Is there any way that I can have this software installed?
Thank you,
Kristen Sunter
