Thanks to Elise for making the changes. As she noted, Tom (Thornton) and I
are delegating actual updating and changes to her, and she knows to watch
out for requests through Kakapo.
windows-server-www list is indeed the list of those who have access to/are
currently maintaining/can maintain the pages under /mit/windows/server (or
equivalently http://web.mit.edu/windows/server/). It is, howeever, still
useful to CC: the list kakapo on changes that are or need to be approved
through them, as in this case, so we take care of things in a single step.
Tim--we should plan to get together in about a week or so to talk about
style concerns, etc. as you note.
Thanks,
Kerem

Kerem,

To save you some work I've moved the container request form into the
/mit/windows/server/ directory. It now lives in /mit/windows/server/cr/
or at:

http://web.mit.edu/windows/server/cr/

You should update the link on
http://web.mit.edu/windows/server/request/
to point to the new form
rather than the one in the pismere locker. Joe or Tom, you may want to
point the link off the pismere documentation at the new form as well at
some point.

Tim, I'm including windows-server-www on this note because there was
some question among Pismere dev folks who should be contacted regarding
changes to this and other pages under /mit/windows/server/ I am
assuming you are using windows-server-www@mit.edu rather than the more
general isweb@mit.edu? Please confirm.

As discussed, the "I need general help" form mails to kakapo@mit.edu
and the container request form mails to hesreq@mit.edu. There was some
recent concern about the latter because hesreq is considerably
different (smaller) than the current container-request@mit.edu list.
However, this is what was decided at Kakapo. If you want to re-open the
issue of where a straightforward container request should go, then
tomorrow's Kakapo is probably a good forum for this.

Cheers,
