Bill / Bob,
We're scheduled to talk next Tuesday at 10:30, I've reserved N42-166 for
the purpose. In addition to any topics on your minds, I would like to make
a decision to go ahead with the rollout of the Filemaker-based Operational
Plan Database to ITLT (first), and then IS team leaders (second).
To reach this decision on Tuesday, we'll need:
* feedback on the intro page http://iswork.mit.edu/iswork.html,
* feedback on the format of the theme/strategy/initiative pages
(follow links off the URL above)
* thoughts on any possible communication plan, including what
we should say about this on Friday, April 21 at the project
leaders meeting.
Barring any major obstacles, we should set a timetable for announcing the
availability of the database before we conclude on Tuesday. Please take a
few minutes to review the material in the database. Note: since we still
have it operating behind a mild blanket of security, you'll need to login
as username=editor; password=server. When we're ready to announce it more
widely, I don't expect we'll have any security on the database.
