Bob,
Although "Evaluate central email storage" (3-B05) seems a bit too granular as a
good example of an initiative, it's there, and we should leave it there.
When you stopped by, I had forgetten that there is already support in the system
for initiatives to have a start date and an end date. [This is not true with
Themes and Strategies, which are are expected to much more persistent across time.]
These dates allow ITLT to explicitly declare that an Initiative is no longer
operative (which may/may not be the same as "completed"), but the database
retains a complete historical record. Then, the end-user can decide what
subsets of data they need to display.
Let me know if this needs further explication.
