Dear AFS Customer,

The Spring AFS User Group meeting will be held June 3, 1992 and June 4, 1992
at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.  Maps will be provied in the
registration packet.

Once again, we are pleased to announce that USAir is offering travel discounts
to AFS User's Group attendees.  In addition, a block of hotel/dorm rooms has
been reserved at three locations to accommodate everyone's needs.

The registration fee is $60.00 per attendee.  This fee covers materials
distributed, continental breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks and a
buffet style lunch.  Completed meeting registration forms and full payment
must be received by May 20, 1992.  (Please register early as attendance is
limited).

A reception will be hosted by CMU's Electrical and Computer Engineering
Department on June 2, 1992 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.  Location of reception
will be provided at a later date.

As a reminder, Transarc is hosting an AFS System Administration training
class May 31 through June 2, 1992.  If you are interested in attending,

Attached is a tentative list of speakers for the meeting.  There is still
time to submit ideas for panels or talks.  Information can be sent to
nydick@psc.edu.

                               FLIGHT INFORMATION

USAir is offering discounts from Continental United States, Bahamas and
San Juan - 35% off the full round trip day coach fare and 5% off published
fares.  All discounted fares are capacity controlled.

Travel Restrictions - Travel valid round trip USAir only May 31-June 7, 1992.

A minimum of ten (10) passengers traveling USAir is required.

at 1-800-334-8644, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST.  Be sure to refer to

                            HOTEL/DORM INFORMATION


Holiday Inn (412) 682-6200 offers a $89.00 flat rate.  Registration deadline
is May 19, 1992.  A five minute walk to campus.  A block of 20 rooms
are available.

Hampton Inn (412) 681-1000 offers a $69.00 flat rate.  Registration deadline
is May 12, 1992.  The Inn is about a 20 minute walk to campus.  Free
shuttle service is available.  A block of 50 rooms are available.

CMU Dorms are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Non-air conditioned rooms are $22.00 per night (single) and $15.00 per night
(double).  Newer, air conditioned rooms are available at $40.00 per night
(single) and $30.00 per night (double).  Quantities are limited.

*Please Note:  If you will be staying in a dorm and are paying your
                registration by check, you MUST include dorm payment
                in your check.

                If you will be submitting a Purchase Order, you MUST
                indicate on the Purchase Order, the dorm preference
