On April 15 the CS.CMU.EDU cell will turn off the old (pre AFS 3.0) Volume
Location Database service. According to our understanding of the afs cache
manager's VLDB service selection algorithm, all machines that have accessed
the CS.CMU.EDU cell before the oldvldb service is turned off will have to be
rebooted after the switch in order to be able to access the CS.CMU.EDU cell
again.
