The Open Computing Facility at Lawrence Livermore National
Laboratory is evaluating the switch from NFS to AFS for
our cluster of 18 RS/6000's running AIX3.1. Does anyone
out there have results that compare the performance of
accessing files in NFS vs. AFS on such a platform?
