The Transarc training department is pleased to offer an AFS System
Adminsitrators class to be held in Pittsburgh, Tuesday April 7
through Thursday, April 9. There will also be another class held Sunday
May 31 through Tuesday, June 2. This latter class will be held 3 days prior to
the AFS User Group, again here in Pittsburgh. The class is a full three days
of lecture and question and answer periods, from 8:30 until 5:00 each day.
Prerequisites for the course are familiarity with UNIX system
administration and a user-level knowledge of AFS. It is also
recommended that you have experience installing an AFS fileserver or
preferably and AFS cell following the instructions found in the "AFS
Installation Guide". If you are interested in attending this class,
or have questions about additional classes, please contact your AFS
sales representative, or send mail to afssales@transarc.com. Classes
are limited in size, and are reserved on a first come first serve
basis.
