When I shutdown either my Sun or DECstation AFS clients, I get the error:
WARNING: Something is hung (wont die); ps ax1 advised
Sure enough, ps shows those little "afsd" rascals hanging on for dear life.
Should this be? If so, is there a way to shutdown so that they get killed?
