Has anybody found a way to deal with files containing "holes"?
The ndbm files that Sun's AnswerBook uses are full of holes and
installing it in AFS results in about twice as much space being used as
would be in NFS. I have been able to use gnu's tar to write the files
with holes intact but the replication process once again fills them with
0s.
Dale.
