I don't know anything about this stuff; I noticed this just afer reading Ed's
note mentioning ITU...
Apologies if everyone else also reads comp.protocols.misc!

Subject: ITU cancellation of freely available specs

I'm doing a story for Communications Week on the ITU's cancellation of a
program, announced at Interop (and talked about in this month's Connexions)
that had allowed users to retrieve copies of protocols through anonymous
FTP, for free, instead of having to pay for paper copies. I'm interested in
hearing response from people, especially if you actually used the service.
Also, if anyone has any statistics on how much the service was used, that'd
be great... Thanks!
