You want to call fsync() in movemail in *any* event, if you want it to
behave correctly when saving mail to the local file system.

Unless you call fsync(), the file may not be completely written to
disk until thirty seconds or so after the last write(); in the
intervening time, you could kick out the power cord of your
workstation and potentially lose mail.
