After reading Levin's message from NIH today asking about DECstation
5000's AFS performance, I was wondering if anyone knew about performance
tradeoffs between a DECstation 5000 and a microVAX II. Which would be
best suited to be an AFS server/client (simultaneous usage).

	What are the tradeoffs?

Would the DECstation be faster/slower in terms of
data transfers over the net. (Raw CPU power vice
perhaps a more optimized I/O structure)

Does anyone have more info/experience in making these tradeoffs.

I too, am an inquiring mind that would like to know.

Thanks.
