First of all, thanks to those that helped us with our time problem.
It turned out we weren't looking to Transarc for the time, instead,
we had our machine asking itself for the correct time. Things are
working much better now.

Our site has a few NeXT machines configured as AFS clients, but we
have a few problems with them. First, we tried to install the AFS
login, but it seems to be ignored by the Workspace's login. I.E. if
you login to the console, you get a normal login, if you rlogin from
another machine, you get the AFS login and a token. Does anyone know
how to get the NeXT Workspace to use AFS login for console logins?

Also, the Workspace Browser needs more information than a simple
listing to build its display. So if you look at the /afs directory
(or if your home directory is in /afs), it takes a *long* time for
the Browser to come up. It is similer to doing an "ls -lf /afs"
which also takes a long time. Does anyone know of a fix for this on
NeXT clients?

Thanks for your help.
