Ok ... like I said, haven't done it before so I didn't catch
that. Anyway ...
foreach vol
* vos dump <vol> -file foo (from dead.cell)
* vos restore <vol> -file foo (to live.cell)
given you have system:administrator tokens for each cell. Syntax isn't
correct, the idea is there, though. You can't do it the easy way.
You'd probably have to do this on a fileserver by fileserver basis
performing the magic I described earlier to move the hardware into the
new cell so that you have space to do the next one ... and so forth.
Does vos restore sans an id create a unique one ... ? (hope
so)
I assume you don't care about moving databases (vl, ka, pt).
That would be ... difficult.
