Subject: Re: AFS (rx?) over SLIP?
i'm running afs over a v.32/9600 pbs link. it sucks. in my
spare time, i bang at rx to make it do retransmits right, but
it's been slow going. i had to work some other magic, e.g.,
knock down the slip mtu to a reasonable value, and implore rx
to use small packets over slip (instead of ip frags).
basically, everything you believe about rx is wrong. it's just
coincidence that it works at all.

than it's ever been before.
