It is usually possible to link with athena Kerberos libraries and have
those programs talk to AFS kerberos servers.
You might have a problem with ticket lifetimes--the tickets you have
in your ticket file have longer lifetimes than stock MIT Kerberos
libraries understand. You might need my long-lifetime patches to MIT
Kerberos.
The CMU SCS facilities department says they have an additional change
to my fixes. When I get that, I'll post the complete set of patches
to the MIT Kerberos library here.
