Well, that is more information about Sun OS 4.1.1 than what we have been
able to obtain. Many people out there are interested in Sun OS 4.1.1 and
Transarc is taking steps to try to address this problem. We have not
tried it yet and as far as we know, none of our sites have done so. We
plan on trying it soon, but that does not mean that we will be able to
support Sun OS 4.1.1 right away. First, it will require some amount of
testing time to make sure everything works (assuming anything works). If
we run into any problems that require code changes, it will probably take
us a couple of months to get a new release of AFS 3.1 out. I will try to
keep everyone posted on the status of AFS on Sun OS 4.1.1.
