The reason why files don't show with PCVENUS under MS Windows,
is because Windows moves the DTA & its contents around
between the int 21h call for FindFirstFileASCIIZ and
the int21h call for FindNextFileASCIIZ. Up until DOS 3.1,
moving the DTA was a no-no, and PCVENUS incorporates
this assumption. Around the time of DOS 3.2 and Windows,
*Someone* changed this in DOS, and Windows depends on it
not being true. Cute, eh?

If you send mail to sfa-systems@umich.edu, you can get
fixes for this problem and several other problems with microsoft
applications.
