Please excuse what is undoubtedly a Frequently Asked Question, but:
I understand that the Kerberos shipped with AFS differs slightly from
that from MIT, in particular regarding its encryption scheme. I've heard
only hints, but the "string_to_key" function seems to figure prominently.
My interest is in getting the Kerberos clients to run on a new system
(a 370 running MTS, if that helps); I have the MIT distribution, but we're
interested in having it talk to a Kerberos server shipped with AFS.
Is this a minor change that I could apply to the MIT distribution, or
do I need to search out a different source distribution? If the latter,
where might I find such a thing?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
