Kris,
We are currently looking into your report of inetd hanging
on HP systems. I will notify Dartmouth as soon as I have
further information.
In addition, as I mentioned to you in early October, I have
not been able to duplicate your login problem. The version
of login that can be found in the afs.rel.port tree successfully
authenticates you to AFS upon login. It would be useful
for you to pick up a new version.
