Hi Sarah,

The server po10.mit.edu is not set up for IMAP.  Information Systems (IS)
is in the process of upgrading MIT email servers and IMAP capabilities are
not yet available on all MIT post offices. In addition, IS is putting into
place the necessary technical support, documentation and training to
support IMAP use at MIT. Official support of IMAP and limited support of
Netscape Messenger (v.4.7) as an IMAP email client on the Windows,
Macintosh, and Athena platforms will begin on October 2, 2000.
