The whole idea with distributing this kind of information is so that  
a user does not have two home directories.  When the user logs in (or  
someone does an attach user), the home directory should be looked up  
and mounted (or symbolically linked).

Hence, there path is always the same, and there is no problem with  
inconistent information.
