Yes, I have also been very disappointed with netinfo. It leaves out
whole classes of possible machine configurations, and doesn't give one
any choice in the matter. I was unaware that Next was offering
Netinfo as a source product (although, almost anything can be obtained
if you have enough money). Nexts' integration of netinfo and other
services also leaves a lot to be desired. Dec seems to have gotten it
right with /etc/svc.conf.
