Accomplishments for December

-- Created outline for Programmer's guide to Geodata Search Tool.
-- Developing GIS IAP classes.
-- Learn to use XML database tools.
-- Upkeep of the ArcView version of the Geodata Search Tool.
-- New metadata records created for tiger roads files already loaded into
the spatial data repository.
-- Joint IS and Libraries meeting about Spatial Data Services.
-- Research case tracking software.
-- Jonathon Weiss replaced server battery.
-- Purchased disk to mirror system disk.
-- Oracel 9i installed on test server.
-- New self help pages created on GIS web site.

Goals for January
--------------------------------------
- Work on programmers guide to Geodata Search Tool.
- Implement help question tracking system. (Possibly case tracker.)
- Service License Agreement (SLA) to be developed.
- Participate in Edtech Fair during IAP.
- Demo Geodata Search Tool during IAP.
- 10 IAP classes will be given.
- Finish SDS Administrators guide. (Backup section.)
- Install ArcSDE on test server.
- Port scripts from Oracle 8i to 9i.
- Determine FGDC tags to add to MARC crosswalk.
- Post student position for spring.
- Final recommendations and project plan for authentication and users
accounts issues for the Spatial Data Repository.
