Accomplishments in December 2002:
Continued planning the E19 reconstruction (now in concert with construction
around E19 5th floor HVAC work, where ducts will be run through floor 6 and
7 to the E19 roof); our switchroom reconstruction is now on hold until the
HVAC work is complete at the end of January 2003;
Continued negotiations around final payments for Lucent Integration travel
and living expenses, and transportation costs;
Next Month's plan:
Finailize the redesign and construction plans for the E19's switchroom,
(e.g. this includes the surrounding offices and equipment that had been
moved prior to the start of this project as well as the addition of new
staff members that were hired since the start of the project 4 years ago).
Meet with team members to start planning the training for the Operations
team technicians. (e.g. 5E architecture, maintenance, translations, DDM
2000 and other newly installed equipment).
Begin compiling list of new features and prepare for discussion around
implementation;
