Project Name: HR-Payroll Project
Project Leader: Dan Fitzgerald
Report Date: Jan 3, 2003
URL: http://web.mit.edu/is/delivery/hrpayroll/

Accomplishments in Dec
- Proposed timeline for go-live of HR was set. It is May for Lincoln Lab
and August for campus.
- Successful Benefits open enrollment window 2 and also successful
transmissions of Benefit elections from open enrollment
- Tuition Assistance integration testing and subsequent transports to
production.

Goals for Jan
- Lincoln-campus data exchange scope defined. (carry-over)
- Define joint, campus and Lincoln, reporting requirements down to the
field level

Next Community Milestone
- Tuition Assistance ESS in Feb/March
- Tuition Assistance policy change regarding removing 6 month waiting
period for eligibility and increasing the prepayment amount for a 1st
course, both effective in Jan 2003.
- Data validation of Cyborg data by DLC's starting in March.

Issues
- Determination of Lincoln Lab - campus integration. Impacts scope,
timeline, project structure, HR structure and project resources.
- Pension Payroll and HR go-lives in 2003 will impact our SAP environment
in terms of pre-production environments, size of SAP instances, management
of support packs, and other areas. Important that we get ahead of this change.
- Scheduling a campus integration test along with supporting the project
testing prior to HR go-live.
