Maintaining Bridges and Feeds Inventory

People, one of the findings during the recent Coopers and Lybrand audit of
SAP operations was that the "inventory of interfaces to/from SAP is not
complete."(page 16 of 8/21 C+L Report). In fact, the last good inventory we
have dates from 12/5/96. It was compiled by Larry Dean and Susan Jones,
based on work by the Bridges + Feeds team.
Dave Rosenberg, as Bridges and Feeds Coordinator, has agreed to take
ownership of this inventory document and to keep it up to date. Soon he
will be circulating the up-to-date version.
We can help him by keeping him well informed of developments in this area,
like the Core States Credit Card feed or the Data Warehouse feed, both of
which are moving toward regular production status. Incidentally, David has
already gotten on my case for not giving him enough advance notice of these
two feeds. So please don't give him the same opportunity for any possible
new feeds with which you may be involved and let him know whenever
something is taking shape.
