Accomplishments for September 2002:

- Presented the custom calendar feature to the Web Publishers' group at a 
lunchtime
   meeting.
- The transition of the Events Calendar to EAST proceeded apace. Met a 
couple of times with
   Tom Grayson and Todd Belton to discuss transition.
- Prepared documentation useful to EAST's work on the calendar.
- Set Tom & Todd up with access to the events servers.
- Paul Heffernan remains in touch with the two student authors of the Tech 
Calendar code regarding
   the sharing of the code with other institutions.
- Enhanced the custom calendar feature, allowing its use in PHP, shtml, 
CFML or other such
   environments.

Plans for next month:

- Present a hands-on custom calendar session at the IT Partners Conference 
(10/24).
- Complete the EAST transition. Target for full transition to EAST is 
October 31. 2002.
- Introduce calendar administrators to EAST.
