Accomplishments Past Period:

* Continued daily maintenance and operation of NetBackup on the E40 systems.
* Prepared and implemented a Zoning strategy for the E40 SAN.
* Adjusted the UNIX Kernel parameters to facilitate the communication
between Netbackup Master and Media Servers.
* Resolved outstanding problem with Netbackup Vault.
* Worked with Asst, Compaq and Veritas to resolve the open issues with the
E40 SAN and Netbackup.
* worked with the Veritas Support to resolve the open issues with the
Netbackup shared storage option.
Goals for the Coming Period:

* Continue the work with Asst, Compaq and Veritas to resolve the open
issues with the E40 SAN and Netbackup.
* Continue the work with the Veritas Support to resolve the open issues
with the Netbackup shared storage option.
* Document bare-metal restore procedure based on the recovery of the
recovery of the Netbackup Master servers.
* Document restore test plan including various restore scenarios and
detailed procedures.
* Complete the W91 roll out plan.
* Get buy-in from key stakeholders (ASST, R3-Admin, DOST) on the E40
implementation.
* Start the W91 implementation
* Update project documentation and web pages.
