Accomplishments for May & June 2002:
- Demonstrated new "custom calendar" feature on May 9 to audience of interested
departments.
- Conducted custom calendar beta test effort involving 5 departments.
- Minor bug fixes to custom calendar as result of beta testing.
Plans for next month:
- Release Events Calendar version 1.6 (text-only home page,
revised menu items and custom events calendars) early July.
- Announce custom calendar service to the MIT Community - publicize
also through I/S newsletter & Tech Talk.
- Begin conversation with new EAST team leader, Tom Grayson, about
transition of Events Calendar to that team.
Issues:
Future releases:
1.7 - further enhancements - no date set yet.
2.0 - redesign of events home page.
EAST transition:
It is hoped that the events calendar can move EASTwards some time
this year.
