Updates -
- ITLT updates - focus has been on FY2004 budget and Performance Appraisals
- Fy2003 budget update
- possible layoffs
- essential personnel: 3 from Delivery with the cards to help get through police lines; 2nd tier (Andrew Boardman for Athena, Paul Hill for Windows, Jim Repa for EHS)

Roundtable (10)
- Surveys, Grad Lottery, Freshman Lottery going very well
- Mailman work going; quickstart May 1
- LJR: few more merchants went live, Nanomanufacturing, group from Sloan
- LJR: ecat/Minuteman still going, working through punchlist items. April 15 will be spotlight for new ID, PSB web site and Minuteman Press
- TomT: WISE installer builder onsite; helping SWRT as needed; some installers exposed to not have an owner.
- TomT: interested in getting another consultant to work on OpenAFS, still working on this
- TomT: New test domain set up working with it's own version of DNS, and have a lot of new servers to replace old machines
- RFerrara: looking for help for Jim Repa
- RFerrara: looking to create longer term contract for EHS support / EAST contract. Repa help could be a bridge person for EAST
- RFerrara: Performance appraisals in front of ITLT; focusing on level 4 & 5 folks. Bob will need to have individual conversations. Bob will talk to individuals about ant ratings changes. Difference between the grades and the money. Ideally ratings will be done early April, $ soon after. End of April for written review.
- RFerrara: Kerem's W2K community update went out today

Debrief of All-Delivery Meeting (March 4)
- great for Jim to deliver message to staff; for some ilead/tls info had been shared before
- comment on IS Forum: good comments on Ed Schein

Project Team Member Evaluation - Ed Dolan (20)
DO: collect ideas for how we can make the system work
- discussion around evaluation form
- another database for looking up person, projects, project TL
- made sure surveyed for legitimate projects
- does work for some - need the prompt to fill out for some people
- goal was to fill out for long project on Feb 28
- project TL doesn't have feedback deliberately
- hope for flexibility (use of other methods if it works)
- is answering form too explicit?
- ask CG to ensure that project TLs have submitted project reviews for their team members
- more suggestions to Ed Dolan

Progress on Departmental Applications (10)
DO: review status and conference services RFP
- Chris Sherrill will be major contributor
- LJR heading it up planning project
- A lot of interested people
- welcome feedback from everyone else about what types of services we should involve in / avoid; how do we make sure IS can succeed in this
- should help define boundaries of projects to accept
- Linguistics Society of America Conference in 2005; LJR and other IS staff working on it. Issuing RFPs to external companies, and there is a request for IS to bid on it. Could be a buy/integrate or build from scratch, both at a cost.

What are challenges for Delivery for FY2004-5?
DO: identify 3-5 key challenges, and next steps
Frame for the new leader what we do well.
At some point there will need to be a presentation on what is Delivery for a VP candidate or the new VP.
Would be useful to have points to talk about.
Will take this up as a brainstorming exercise at another meeting
Some though about comfort level with Jim vs new person - will define the new communication paths

The meeting closed with some discussion about framing questions for John Curry at the April 1 ILEAD.
