verano que ahora, por fin, podemos dar por resuelto y que tiene algunos
detalles que son realmente importantes para cualquier tipo de empresa y
empresario. En este caso, la "protagonista" es una empresa vasca del sector
de la alimentación que nos contrató porque llevaba 2
ejercicios con un crecimiento increíble. Cada vez tenía
más clientes, más facturación y pedidos más
grandes pero cuanto más crecía menos rentable se
volvía. ¿El problema? Tenía casi todo su endeudamiento
a corto y un ciclo de venta largo, así que las pólizas que
usaba para comprar materia prima le tocaba pagarlas antes de haberla hecho
líquida. Y a cada póliza le daba varias vueltas al año.
La empresa, pese a su margen de beneficio menguante, era rentable y
podía seguir operando sin excesivos problemas pero el empresario se
dio cuenta de que estaba sumido en una suerte de huida hacia delante y que
si no reestructuraba cuanto antes su apalancamiento para adaptarlo a las
necesidades reales de su proceso productivo cada vez necesitaría
más financiación a corto, cada vez le sería más
complicado conseguirla y sus gastos financieros no dejarían de
crecer. Así que se puso en contacto con nosotros y nos encargó
darle la vuelta por completo a su estructura financiera para adaptarla a su
operativa. Ha sido mucho trabajo pero ya casi lo hemos terminado y en 2019
va a ser una empresa más rentable y más sólida. Nos
hemos deshecho de buena parte de sus pólizas, hemos conseguido un
colchón de liquidez a medio plazo y le hemos dado algunas
herramientas financieras (confirming, factoring, etc.) para acortar las
diferencias entre sus plazos de pago y cobro cuando sea necesario. En
resumen, en cinco meses de trabajo hemos conseguido cambios que
marcarán el ritmo de la empresa durante años. Eso es lo que
